Mensagem do Conselho de Administração da UBRAFE
The end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009 were marked by the international economic crisis, which generated colossal losses for the largest financial institutions in the world. This global retraction also had its reflexes here, but Brazil continues doing its homework very well.
Our diversified economy, with its industrial park and well structured technology, qualified labor force, the availability and abundance of natural resources and the growth of our commodities market positions us as a stable, promising and extremely attractive country for investors.
And if the strength of our domestic market has a mirror, this image is projected live and in color in the business fairs. Our sector continues being the principal stage where the whole of Brazil’s productive chain and its distribution channels come together. In the business fairs realized by associates of UBRAFE, the exhibiting companies receive interested potential buyers with the powers of decision, coming from all the states of the country and more than 65 countries abroad. Because of this, every year more companies participate in business fairs realized by associates of UBRAFE.
In the same location, industry, retail and wholesale can negotiate and create partnerships. It is through this interaction that producers and manufacturers identify the new and different demands of actual and potential clients, be they shop owners, middlemen and distributers from all over the country and abroad. In this way, by promoting the meeting of professionals from the same sector with similar interests, in an environment which is incredibly appropriate for the materialization of new ideas, the fairs offer an invaluable contribution to the development of the markets. The best proof of this is the UBRAFE Calendar “Principal Business Fairs of Brazil”, which has arrived even stronger at its 2010 edition.
